This December my husband and I had the blessing of vacationing on Kauai for a week. And even though we were supposed to be “relaxing”, I couldn’t go to a place as beautiful as Kauai, and not do at least one couples session. I mean come on, look at it. So I reached out to Maggie on Instagram to see if she and her husband would be down for an adventurous photo session at Waimea Canyon. Sometimes I think I hate social media and what it’s done to our overall mental health and relationships, but then I meet people like Maggie and Landon over Instagram, and I’m reminded of the good that can come from it, if used properly. They were two of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve ever met (also just look how cute they are together), and we had so much fun exploring Kauai’s beautiful Waimea Canyon way past sunset. The moon even came out at the very end, and we still kept on shooting until there was literally no light left and we had walked through all the spider webs and our bare feet were covered with Kauai’s famous red dirt. I’m already dreaming of the next time I can go back to Hawaii to explore and take more photos! So hit me up if you want to do a photo session in Hawaii because I’m SO there.
