These two have been dear friends since college, and it was such a pleasure to finally get to take photos of them, not only because Corrie happens to be an amazing photographer herself, but because they are just so gosh darn cute. She took my engagement photos before I got married, so it was fun to finally return the favor! I love the city of Portland because of all the urban buildings and unique bars and restaurants there are to discover. One of my favorite parts about shooting downtown is finding all the exciting interior spaces and different colored walls at every turn. There’s always something new to see. McMenamins also has so many fun locations in the Pacific Northwest and it’s become one of my favorite spots to go for a date night or when meeting friends, so it felt appropriate to explore one of their locations for this shoot and then grab dinner and drinks afterwards. Sometimes the everyday places you go can be some of the best locations for photoshoots. So cheers to lifelong friends and re-discovering places!
